Swarovski Crystal

In jewellery making you can't get much better than Swarovski crystal beads.

Swarovski is named after Daniel Swarovski who was born to a glass cutter in 1862.  He worked in his fathers factory for two years on an apprenticeship where he learned about glass cutting.  Swarovski crystals come in a variety of sizes, shapes and colours.

In 1892 he patented an electric cutting machine that revolutionised the process of crystal cutting and in 1895 he founded the company Swarovski in Wattens, Tyrol.

It wasn't until 1977 that jewellery became part of the Swarovski market.

The beads are beautiful and sparkle like diamonds.  They are gorgeous to use when making any type of jewellery.
