There are many jewellery making tools around to help you with jewellery making.  A set of pliers is the first thing that you need if you are just starting out with simple earrings, bracelets etc.

The more advanced you are with your jewellery making, then the more advanced will be your tools.

Round Nosed Pliers

These are used mainly for making ring shapes, with head pins or eye pins after feeding the beads on to the stems.  This is to secure them onto the jewellery you are making ie earrings, bag charms.

Flat Nosed Pliers

Flat nosed pliers are generally used to secure the crimp beads into place by squeezing them.
